Builders 2000, Incorporated was founded in 1987 by its
current Chairman, Mr. Philip Go. His vision was to provide high quality
residential units, in terms of design, construction and finishes, with
affordable pricing.
His vision became a reality with his numerous residential
projects which includes Windgate Villas, a one hectare
townhouse/duplex development in Visayas Avenue, Quezon City;
Townhouses/duplexes at New Manila, Magdalena Rolling Hills and Sta. Mesa
Heights all in Quezon City, Cebu City and ongoing townhouses in the Marikina
Area.
He also ventured successfully into vertical residential
development with the Asiawealth Tower Condominium located at Leveriza
Street, Pasay City. A 28-storey condominium, it sets an industry standard by
providing very generous amenities, high quality finishes and construction
while maintaining very low investment rates. In fact, even if it was being
constructed during the real estate market crash in the late 1990s wherein a
lot of other developers abandoned their projects, Asiawealth was finished,
with as committed amenities and finishes and without burdening their
investors with any additional charges (even with acute depreciation of the
peso. Today, Builders 2000 Inc., in joint venture with Litton Group of
Companies, ventures into another residential condominium project with Le
Mirage de Malate. It will soon be a landmark at the prime area of A. Mabini
Street near Quirino Avenue, Malate, Manila.
Today, aside from his foremost focus on construction and
development, Mr. Go continues to operate his garment manufacturing company
(founded in 1973 and producing the Le Tigre brand of clothing), furniture
manufacturing/importation business (since the early 1990s) and commercial
arcade development/leasing (such as Sunshine Square, Shaw Boulevard).
